Construction Supervision of Lahore Islamabad Motorway Project (M-2) 

Lahore Islamabad Motorway (M-2) is part of Pakistan Motorway Project starting from Peshawar and ending at Karachi. Lahore Islamabad Motorway is 333 Km long six lane divided controlled access motorway. It starts from Kot Noor Shah at the junction of Lahore - Jaranwala Road and end at 6 Km from the junction of Kashmir Highway and the G-T Road (N-5). The project is 333 Km long with 89 bridges including major bridges on rivers, and 7 Interchanges, with numerous underpasses and drainage culverts. It was opened to traffic in December 1998 by the then Prime Minister but the actual works were completed in November 1999.

A. A. Associates were appointed as sub consultant to M/s SMEC of Australia by the National Highway Authority along with other Consultants. A. A. Associates were assigned the construction supervision of structures and major bridges on Section 2 of the Motorway starting from Pindi Bhattian to Chakwal.

Detailed construction of the works in section 2 of the Project. Checking of Surveys, excavations, sub soil investigations, and structural works. Measurement of works and certification of bills and submittal to main consultant.Design review and modification as required according to site conditions.Checking of as built drawings and assistance to main consultant
